38 Movie Theaters Ready to Compete in FFI 2011

Participant's work registration Indonesian Film Festival 2011 has been closed last October 17, 2011. As is known FFI 2011 has four types of competition, ie movies, short films, documentaries, and television movies.

Executive committee has conducted the verification process and completeness of the information in the registration form. Some of the fittings that include a copyright statement, letter of pass censorship, and film material.

After the verification process is completed, all work into the judging room in their respective competitions. Recorded 73 movies 19 movies mandaftar but was disqualified for various reasons.

Overall the judging process was done gradually and simultaneously, all of which will expire prior to the announcement of nominations to be held on November 27, 2011 in East Kalimantan.

Interestingly, from the list of participants there was only one movie-themed horror films, namely 'victimizing Jailangkung'. This fact is very different from previous years FFI, where the number of films of this type is very dominating. This data is interesting when you see the number is still a lot of horror themed movies released during 2011.

Once verified, a register of 41 movies 38 movies found to comply with the requirements as a participant. Here are 38 movies that have fulfilled the terms and conditions of registration, as quoted from the official website of FFI 2011:
